The Master Cleanse Diet – Step by Step

The Master Cleanse Diet will help you to detoxify your body, lose weight and regain lost energy. Here is a short but simple step-by-step process on how to successfully get through the Master Cleanse diet:

Step 1: Consult your personal physician on whether your body can take the rigors of the Master Cleanse Diet. You can only start the diet after your doctor clears you.

Step 2: Choose a good time for you to complete the Master Cleanse Diet. Make sure you have no outstanding appointments or engagements that will force you to halt the Master Cleanse Diet.

Step 3: Follow a three-day easing in process in which you will only consume fruits and vegetables on the first day, soups and broths on the second day and just fruit juice on the third day. This will help you get used to the liquid diet of the Master Cleanse.

Step 4: Gather enough ingredients to last you the duration of the Master Cleanse Diet. The ingredients should include lemons, maple syrup and cayenne pepper powder.

Step 5: Mix your Master Cleanse Diet drink with the ingredients you have. Make sure that each serving is enough to last two to four hours. You can also make a mix to last you the entire day on a pitcher of lemonade, but make sure you keep it cooled.

Step 6: You may want to add an herbal tea laxative such as Senna tea to cleanse your bowels on the first few days.

Step 7: Drink one serving every four hours, or sip on the drink over a four-hour period. During the diet you are not allowed to eat or drink anything except for water and the Master Cleanse lemonade.

Step 8: Continue the Master Cleanse Diet 10 to 15 days or depending on your needs. The diet cleanses your body of toxins through urine and bowel movements.

Step 9: Make sure you drink anywhere from six to eight 10oz. glasses of lemonade, or around 60 ounces of lemonade per day. If you cannot consume this, try eight to ten 8oz. glasses of lemonade.

 

Step 10: When exiting the Master Cleanse, follow a three-day easing out process in which you consume only fresh fruit juice on the first day, fruits and vegetables on the second day and soups and broths on the third day. Do not rush this process as you are assimilating back to a normal diet. On the fourth day, you can eat small portions of solid food.
